The MGC story starts back in Scottsdale Arizona where Bryan Manning took a job as a Project Manager and was tasked with building and remodeling Car Dealerships throughout the sunbelt. He learned from some very talented and experience colleagues and contractors. The next big step was when Owens Corning hired him as a Sr. Area Sales Manager for Iowa & Nebraska. Learning and understanding “the back end” of the business has been instrumental with how set our business culture: The customer has to win and we will only do it if it makes sense for everyone!

Our Woman Owned Roofing business was founded in Kansas City, MO by Emmy Manning in 2018 and we have had tremendous growth over the last five years. In 2020, when COVID hit, no one knew what was to come so a crazy decision was made to “open up shop” in Charleston, SC and there will be no turning back!
Our Team handles anything from a “little roof repair” to large Condominium Projects. All of our Subcontractors are Licensed and Insured and we offer them all additional training. Our Project Managers coordinate all repairs and builds and walk out clients through the process…start to finish. MGC is also hired by many homeowners as the General Contractor when they have storm damage to their property. We have built a phenomenal reputation in the storm restoration business to the point where Attorneys, Insurance Carriers, and Policy Holders hire MGC to Appraise an insurance claim. To date, we have yet to lose an appraisal! This is because we know damage and what it will take to bring a property back to pre-storm conditions.
Our Construction Team has also been focusing on Barndominiums and Metal Buildings. Their focus was on new construction framing jobs over the last five years; however, that market has shifted. During that time we took on some Barndominiums and construction of Metal Buildings and the decision has been made to focus on that market sector. Our Manning Metal Building Division has partnered with great suppliers and couldn’t be more excited. This is a great addition to our Decra Metal Roof and our Ludowici Clay Tile offerings.
