What to Expect During the Claims Process
Initial damage Inspection
One of our project managers will come out and perform a damage assesment to determine specifically what building materials are damaged, the extent of your damages, and a resonable method of repair. From there we will create an estimate.
Comparative Analysis
Once you insurance carrier's estimate has been received, we will compare estimates for any damage that was overlooked or incorrectly measured. This ensures all damage is documented and not overlooked. This process typically takes 1-2 weeks to complete depending on schedules and your carrier's availability.
Schedule The Repair Work
Once your insurance carrier has agreed to repair all of your damages, we can schedule the work. Upon completion, we will perform a final walkthrough to confirm that the work is completed per our agreement. Once final payment has been received, we will issue your warranty certificate.
Additional Considerations
Timeline Expectations
The timeline of any given project can vary depending on a multitude of factors such as: authorizing a proper method of repair, misjudging the damage, or denial for compensation to meet building codes. You can expect for this process to take 1-2 weeks.
Maintaining Open Communication
By maintaining an open line of communication between your claims adjuster and general contractor, you can help to expedite the process of getting your home repaired. This also keeps you in the loop concerning what stage of the process you are in and what is next to come.
Denied Claims
In the event that you had a claim denied, we can help you through that process as well. This includes, re-inspections and re-adjustments to help with getting your claim bought after a denial.
