Let’s be honest, we fell in love with Charleston! Our family had vacationed at Folly Beach for five years we loved the people and culture. The Charleston weather suited our lifestyle and we spent a lot of time on the beach, touring the Plantations, and touring the historic properties in Downtown Charleston during our visits. The Low Country was where we wanted to be.
We starter looking at properties is 2019 and found a beautiful Charleston Single on Johns Island. Apparently, we beat the rush! While house shopping in the different greater Charleston area and Islands, it was hard not to notice all the “mismatched roofs” and shoddy repairs. It just didn’t make sense to us that so many beautiful homes were left with scars from storm damage. We spoke with many locals and found that there was definitely a need for our services and expertise when it comes to storm damage and roof replacements in the Charleston. The decision was made and Johns Island became our new home.
Originally, there was no intention to “open shop” in Charleston; but, as we settled in our new friends started to request assistance at their properties. Then we started receiving referral requests. It was difficult saying no and eventually, we pulled the trigger and set up shop in Charleston.
